Post 8 > English Language Challenges

I feel that in my life I have never been good at English, in school I didn't like it and I did badly and the teacher I had didn't motivate me very much.

At the university when I had to take the exam to see my level, obviously I did badly, I was in level 2 and well, it makes me very uncomfortable to be forced to take a subject that I don't like.

Anyway, the first English teacher I had at the university was very motivating, I still remember her name, Miss Loreto. She said that we didn't have to feel bad or ashamed if we didn't speak the language well, that we all started from scratch, even her, she also told us that no one would make fun of us if we made a mistake because that was part of the process. It was a good experience.

Then in pandemic the other teachers I've had have been good, but online the experience is different, it's more boring and doesn't motivate me much.

This last year I personally feel that it has been the most difficult for me because I have not been able to connect much to the classes because I have had to start working because the economic situation at home is bad and that has complicated things, anyway I can not say that my experience with English has been bad, on the contrary, it has been more fulfilling than the classes I had at school, because I feel that I have learned and that is enough.
